Propane

In 2012, we introduced Taylor Propane as part of our fuel offerings. Propane is a safe, dependable, and clean energy source that provides a versatile and efficient energy option that can power various household appliances such as stoves, water heaters, furnaces, generators, and much more. The benefits of propane include:

  • Heat Generation: One gallon of propane can generate up to 92,000 BTU’s of heat energy.
  • Improved Efficiency & Savings: Propane costs 60% less to operate than oil furnaces, electric heat pumps and wood furnaces and heats significantly faster than electricity. Propane furnaces/boilers also cost less to install than oil heating systems and are more compact to fit in smaller spaces. 
  • Safety: Proper storage and handling of propane are crucial for safety. We have qualified technicians that ensure safe installation and maintenance for prolonging the life of the equipment. Our underground storage tanks are the safest in the area.
  • Energy Independence: Propane works even during power outages so you can enjoy uninterrupted home comfort.

Gasoline

We have 89 Octane Gasoline available to fuel vehicles at four of our office locations. Our gasoline is a mid-grade fuel that is sold at most gas stations in the United States. Octane levels indicate how volatile a gasoline grade is. Here are the three main grades of gasoline and their octane levels:

  • Regular: The lowest octane fuel, generally 87 octane.
  • Midgrade: The middle range octane fuel, generally 89-90 octane.
  • Premium: The highest-octane fuel, generally 91-94 octane.

Kero/Winter Blend

Kerosene is used as a fuel for heat, light, and power in homes and businesses. We have the following blends available:

  • Kerosene Fuel: Specifically for outdoor tanks – K-1, ultra-low sulfur kerosene.
  • Winter Blend Heating Fuel: Used to protect fuel from gelling in cold weather – made up of one-half #2 fuel oil and one-half kerosene.
